5.) Verify all necessary BS 1900 system components, hardware, cir-
cuit packs, and cables are at the installation site and that they are
in good condition. If a Materials List is provided, verify the packing
list with it.
6.) Determine if an AC or DC power card is to be used in the configu-
ration.
a.) If installing a DC power card, install the -48 V DC power
source.
b.) Next determine if a Switch Card or an MIU Card will be used in
the configuration.
• If installing a Switch Card proceed to "Task 003: Installing
the BS1900 and Filter Shelves, on page 58."
• If installing an MIU Card proceed to "Task 002: Installing the
19” Fan Tray, on page 54."
7.) Complete all remaining tasks in the order given unless otherwise
directed.
