Intermediate Cable Specifications
BitStorm 1900 Access Multiplexer Intermediate (loop extention) cables
can be obtained "off-the-shelf" from a variety of vendors, as long as
cables chosen meet the following specifications:
• Category 5 bundled 25-pair cable made of 24-AWG wires
• Unshielded, 25-pair female connector (Amp-Champ or equivalent)
on the end connecting to the BitStorm 1900 Access Multiplexer
cable harness
Figure B-12 (shown below) illustrates an example of intermediate
cabling suitable for use with the BitStorm 1900.
