Network Support Equipment
The network support equipment that may need to be installed includes
the following:
• Ethernet 10 Base-T hub port for BitStorm 1900 Hub card connec-
tion (one per BitStorm 1900 Access Multiplexer shelf)
• Ethernet 10 Base-T hub ports for StormTracker/InterProxy (two per
StormTracker)
• LAN router connections
• WAN gateway connection
Network support requirements will vary according to the existing facil-
ity resources. Elastic Networks suggests using a Site Survey Question-
aire to ensure all requirements are identified. Elastic Networks’
Partners will find Hotel and Carrier Site Surveys on our Partner Only
Site.
