Task 014: Configuring Remote Management
The MIU can be remotely managed via the management 10Base T-X
Ethernet port as shown in Figure 2-25, "Telnet Connection for the Bit-
Storm 1900."

To access and configure the MIU SNMP function, clients will either
use an SNMP Network Management Software solution (i.e., Elastic
Networks’ EMS 2.0, HP Open View, CastleRock’s SNMPc, etc.) or
Telenet into the MIU and use the CLI (Command Line Interface).
