To Connect the VIA!dj to the Internet

The next sequence of screens helps you connect your VIA!dj to the Internet:

• Press the Menu button on the VIA!dj GUI.

• Use the or buttons to highlight the Set Up option and press the

Select button.

• Use the or buttons to highlight the Settings option and press the

Select button.

The Settings menu is displayed:

• Press the Select button to open the Network Settings screen and select

between Ethernet and Modem in the Internet Access heading.

Connecting Via Ethernet

• Use the or buttons to highlight the Network Settings option and press

the Select button.

If you are using a broadband router or connecting via a home network with DHCP en-

abled, select DHCP in Ethernet Mode. Otherwise select Static and enter your Eth-

ernet details manually in the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS ﬁ elds in

Static Ethernet Settings.

Note: When making changes to the Static Ethernet Settings it may be necessary to

switch your VIA!dj Off and then On again in order for the changes to take effect.
