Enabling Media Transfer

• Press the Menu button on the VIA!dj GUI to display the Main Menu.

• Use the or buttons to highlight Set Up and press the Select button.

• Use the or buttons again to highlight Settings and press the Select

button.

• Use the or buttons again to highlight Media Transfer Settings and

press the Select button.

The following screen is displayed:

This setting should be set to Enabled by default. However, if necessary, press the

Edit button and select Enabled to activate media transfer. Use the Save button

to save this setting.

Provided that the VIA!dj is connected correctly, it should now be accessible by brows-

ing the network from your computer. Alternatively, open Windows Explorer and type

the IP address of your VIA!dj into the Address Bar (e.g. \\<IP ADDRESS>). When you

attempt to access the VIA!dj on your home network, you will be asked to enter a User-

name and Password. These are as follows:

Username - elanviadj

Password - elanviadj

Note: The above Username and Password are case sensitive.

If you are using an Apple

Macintosh

computer you can create a new network connec-

tion as follows:

• Select Go from the Finder menu and click Connect to Server.

• Click on the Browse button in the Connect to Server window.

• Navigate to your VIA!dj on the network and double-click the appropriate icon.

• If your VIA!dj does not appear in the Browse window return to the Connect to

Server window and enter: smb://<WORKGROUP><AUDIOSERVER_NAME>

(e.g.smb://MSHOME;AUDIOSERVER) into the Server Address box, then click

the Connect button.
