To Look Up Album details:
• Highlight Look Up Album Details.
• Press the Select button.
• Press the Start button.
The VIA!dj will access the Gracenote
®
Music Recognition Service and update all
Albums that have been recorded onto the Hard Disk Drive.
Remote Back Up and Restore
In the unlikely even that your VIA!dj develops a fault or, for example, should you choose
to upgrade to a larger Hard Disk Drive, you have the option to back up the contents of
the Hard Disk Drive to a selected location on your home network and then restore this
information at a later date.
In order to use Remote Back Up and Restore, it is fi rst necessary to confi gure the
appropriate settings on your VIA!dj.
• Press the Menu button to display the Main Menu.
• Use the or buttons to highlight Set Up and press the Select button.
• Use the or buttons again to highlight Settings then press the Select
button.
• Use the or buttons to highlight Remote Back Up Settings and press
the Select button.
In the Location fi eld, enter the location on the network to which you wish to back up
your Library (e.g.\\192.168.0.1\Media Transfer Share). Enter Username, Password and
Domain where appropriate to access your home network. In the Replace Back Up
fi eld, enter False to create a new Back Up and leave the previous Back Up intact (uses
more disk space). Enter True in order to overwrite the previous back up and preserve
more disk space.
