USER'S GUIDE
Controlling Playback
Whether you are playing music from the Library or directly from a CD, you can Pause,
Stop, and Resume playback as well as Seek and Skip Tracks at any time.
To Pause play:
• Press the button on the front panel or the VIA!dj GUI or remote control.
To Stop play:
• Press the button on the front panel or the VIA!dj GUI or remote control.
To Resume play:
• Press the button on the front panel or the VIA!dj GUI or remote control.
To Skip to the next or previous Track:
• Press the or button on the front panel or the VIA!dj GUI or remote
control.
The front panel display shows the number of each Track as you skip between them.
To Seek within a Track:
• Hold down the or button on the front panel or the VIA!dj GUI or remote
control.
Play resumes from the new position when you release the button.
Shuffl e And Repeat Playback
The VIA!dj lets you play selections from the Library in a shuffl ed order to add variety to
your music. You can also play selections repeatedly.
To Shuffl e the playback order:
• Press the button on the VIA!dj GUI or remote control to randomize the order
of the selections in the Jukebox list.
• Press the button a second time to Shuffl e all of the Tracks in the Jukebox
list.
This will also turn on Repeat mode for continuous playback of all Tracks.
• Press the button a third time to disable Shuffl e.
To Repeat the current selection:
• Press the button on the VIA!dj GUI or remote control to repeat the currently
playing Track.
• Press the button a second time to repeat the entire Jukebox list.
• Press the button a third time to disable Repeat.
The front panel and VIA!dj GUI both indicate that Shuffl e and Repeat are enabled.
