Playing Music
Playing a CD
The VIA!dj can play a CD directly from the CD tray without fi rst recording it to the Hard
Disk Drive.
• Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the Front Panel to open the CD tray.
• Place a CD in the tray.
• Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front panel again to close the CD tray.
• Use the or buttons to select the CD Drive option.
• Press the Select button.
• Press the Play button.
Note: You cannot record a CD while playing from the CD tray.
Playing Music From the Library
• Select Library from the Main Menu.
The Library screen is displayed:
The Library is divided into the following categories:
• Tracks
• Albums
• Artists
• Genres
• Years
• Eras
• Playlists *
• Presets *
* Note: Playlists and Presets are displayed on the second page of the Library menu.
Press the or buttons until these options appear.
