Alternately, you can use the DOS shell command "ipconfig /all" to determine the computer’s
network settings. Either of these methods will allow you to see the computer’s IP address, subnet
mask, router address (gateway), and DNS servers.
All of this data, except for the last digit in the IP address, can be manually entered into the VIA!dj’s
Ethernet settings. The IP address for the VIA!dj will be the same first three digits of the computer,
and the fourth digit must be unique.
To enter this information:
1. From the Main Menu select Settings
2. From the Settings menu select System Settings
3. From the System Settings menu select Ethernet Access
4. From the Ethernet Settings menu highlight Mode and press Edit
5. From the Mode menu, highlight Manual and press ✔Select. This setting will be saved
and you will be returned to the Ethernet Settings menu.
6. From the Ethernet Settings menu select Manual Ethernet Settings
7. From the Manual Ethernet Settings menu, highlight IP Address and press Edit.
8. Using the remote and/or front panel grid, set the first three IP Address numbers to the
same first three numbers as the PC, and make the last number unique. For example:
