The A12 Power Amplifier is designed to provide a
reliable, affordable and feature-rich solution for
multi-room audio systems requiring up to twelve
channels of amplification. Building on ELAN’s
proven analog technology, the A12 adds advanced
features like audio sensing, stereo/mono bussing
and trigger inputs/outputs to make it the premier
amplifier in its price range.
Using easy-to-configure dip switches a bus input
can be sent to any A12 output without the use of
additional patch cables. Bus loop outputs allow for
easy connection to additional amplifiers,A/V
receivers, etc.
Six +12VDC trigger inputs allow each pair of
channels to be activated independently.The A12’s
audio sense circuit mutes or un-mutes channels
based upon audio signal detection.
Each channel also features an audio loop output,
making for the easy creation of stereo and mono
sub-zones or for routing audio to additional
amplifiers or audio
processors. Individual
channel level
adjustments allow
fine-tuning of each
channel. Removable,
locking speaker
terminals make quick
and secure speaker
connections.
