Phase couplers are designed to enhance the
communication reliability of the system.
They provide a path for a signal generated on one
phase, in a typical split-phase (single-phase) 240
VAC residential system to cross over to the other
phase of the powerline. A PPC1 is recommended
in each breaker panel in a home. If a 220V 3- or
4-prong receptacle is available use the PPC3 or
PPC4.
In larger systems (homes over 5000 sq. ft) that
have more than 3 electrical panels signal attenu-
ation is a culprit that may reduce communication
strength. The main purpose of the SPR1 is to
INSTALLATION & SUPPORT DEVICES
These items are designed to reduce/eliminate
electrical noise or the attenuating effects of devices
that could interfere with our communication
signals. A few different types of ballasts, power
supplies, power conditioners and motors can place
unwanted noise on the powerline; these chokes
and filters ensure reliable performance of your
system. The ILC In-Line Choke is used on wire-in
devices rated for 120 VAC devices that draw up to
1.8 Amps. The Plug-in 120 VAC PLF5 (3.8 A) and
PLF15 (15A) filters plug in between the noisy of-
fender and isolates them from the electrical wiring.
The PLF15 has two outlets for plugging in multiple
devices or power strips.

FEATURES
Ensures reliable communication
Blocks low frequency noise above 4 kHz
Isolates attenuation effect of highly capacitive
devices
increase the powerline communication reliability
by taking the communications transmitted on one
phase (leg) of the electrical system and repeating
them on to the other phase (leg) at full strength.
For environments such as restaurants, apartment
complexes, office buildings or across multiple elec-
trical phases, the TPR120 is designed to deliver all
the benefits on three-phase 120/208VAC Delta-Wye
60Hz power.

three (½ X ¾ combo type) knockouts are provided
on the top, bottom and back of the enclosure for
simplified wiring.
The LCP is designed to be flush-mounted between
two16-inch center-to-center studs or surface-
mounted on any flat surface. De-rating is not
needed as all the heat generated by high-power
lighting controls is properly dissipated.
FEATURES
The cost to design, layout, construct, wire, and

ORDER NO. PIMR (FOR RS-232)
ORDER NO. PIMU (FOR USB)
The PIM plugs into any standard 120VAC electrical
outlet. The PIMR is an RS-232 serial interface that
connects to any available COM port via a DB9
serial cable (included). The PIMU is a USB serial
interface that connects to any available USB port.
Software drivers allow the PIMU to emulate a serial
PIM by taking over an available COM port.
