The largest of the SW enclosures, the
E36 is constructed from 16-gauge
galvanized steel and has a built-in
grid for the mounting of ELAN SW
modules. This UL-listed enclosure fits
in a standard 16 in. (on-center) stud
bay and has eight 2 in. and three 3/4
in. knockouts for cable routing. Two
vertical rows of 70 grid spaces
accommodate a plethora of SW
Data, Telephone and Video Modules
as well as the MAC24 Music and
Communications Center (see pg. 93).
The E36 also features a single-gang
box knockout and adjustable side
mounting tabs.
E36 36" ENCLOSURE
This galvanized steel cover for the E36
enclosure installs easily with four screws
(provided) and is vented at both top and
bottom.
