QUAD allows monitoring up to
four CCTV security cameras at the same
time on any VIA! Touch Panel, TV or
monitor in the home. The VIA!QUAD has
four different viewing modes, all of which
are easily accessed with a simple touch on
a VIA! Touch Panel. Quad mode allows the
user to view four different video feeds at
the same time. Picture-in-picture (PIP)
mode displays two images, and the PIP
insert can be moved around to any portion
of the screen. Full screen mode fills the
entire screen with one image. And Scan
mode allows switching between all four
video feeds automatically.
VIA!QUAD features two composite video
outputs. One is used for house-wide
distribution. The other can be sent to a
VCR or DVR for recording. A separate
VGA output can be used for a dedicated
surveillance monitor. Each video input
has independent brightness, contrast,
saturation and hue adjustments. There are
also motion detect and video loss alarms
for enhanced security monitoring, as well
as freeze/zoom functions for enhanced
viewing. Channel naming, date and time
display ensures that the user knows where
and when things are happening or have
happened.

includes special point-and-click source
setup options that make programming the
VIA!QUAD quick and easy!
In addition to VIA! Touch Panels, any TV or
monitor in the home can be used to view
VIA!QUAD video. The unit comes with a
simple-to-use handheld remote that
controls what and how something is seen
from any room that has an IR receiver.

plasma TV in the home theater, see what’s
