POWER POWER CONTROLLER
The Z•POWER Controller is a critical hub
for both home theater and distributed A/V
systems, addressing such needs as surge
protection, sequenced AC switching and
multiple triggering options.
The Z•POWER Controller has eight earth-
grounded outlets. Two current sensing
outlets are always on. Four outlets turn on
immediately with a trigger input. Two
more turn on with a programmable delay.
No other power manager has as many
trigger options. The six switched outlets
can be triggered by the AC current sense
of the two “Always On” outlets, by a
remote trigger input,from the ELAN
®
SENSE
sensor input, or by the front panel switch.
Any combination of triggers can be
selected so that multiple sources initiate
the turn-on sequence.
The 12VDC triggered output and a relay
contact closure make it easy to close
drapes or lower screens. The relay output
is programmable, allowing home theater
triggered events to close drapes, but
system-triggered events to turn on sources
without closing the drapes!
High-quality transient voltage protection
is also included, with inductive AC line
filtering, MOV Surge Protection, 15A
Circuit Breaker, a 2-line telephone surge
suppressor and 1GHz coax surge
suppressor loop-through.
Front Panel LEDs indicate status and fault
monitoring of the AC line.
