The VHTO100 is a high-power stereo
speaker switching module that allows
ELAN Page and Door Chime audio to be
automatically routed to speakers in non-
ELAN system areas such as a home theater.
A 12VDC signal, transmitted from an ELAN
S, Z• or MAC24 system whenever a page or
door chime is initiated, triggers a pair of
relays on the VHTO100, switching the
audio path from the local system amplifier
to the ELAN system amplifier.
In a home theater, ELAN Page and Door
Chime audio can be routed to the rear
channel speakers, allowing page and door
chime audio to be easily heard.

NET REPEATER
The VIA!
®
NET, or the communication link
between the SC4 and all the VIA! Touch
Panels in a system, has a maximum total
wire-run length of 2000 feet. VIA!NET
Repeaters extend the overall wire run
capabilities of the VIA!NET, enabling up
to 30 VIA! Touch Panels to communicate
reliably with the SC4 from up to 1000 feet
each.

SIM2 SENSOR INTEGRATION MODULE
The SIM2 is a low-cost, simple automation
solution designed to work seamlessly with
ELAN
®
SENSE sensors. The SIM2 functions
as a stand-alone 4 sensor input/2 relay
output module that provides dry contact
closure or 12V output in response to
sensor input status. Built-in relays respond
to sensor triggers differently based on
conditional logic and/or dip switch
settings on the unit. This allows any
ELAN
®
SENSE automation sensor, or
standard motion, driveway or
door/window sensor, to intelligently
trigger relays on the SIM2 based on the
dip switch settings. The SIM2 is ideal for
home theater automation applications, or
any application that requires the use of
automated triggering through the use of
sensors.
