Designed for use with the System12’s
eight Local Source Inputs, the LSWP sends
audio and composite video from any local
source (i.e. a DVD player in the Master
Bedroom) back down to the S12, and IR
control signals from the S12 back to the
local source.
Audio and IR are transmitted over a
single run of Cat-5 cable to the local
source RJ-45 jacks on the S12. Balanced
differential line drivers ensure noise-free
audio from sources located up to 300 feet
from the S12. An IR OUT jack allows you
to plug in an IR emitter (included) for
control of the source from that zone’s
keypad or touch panel. An RCA-to-F
barrel connector is also provided to send
local composite video signals back down
to the head end for wholw house
distribution.
Up to eight Local Source Wall Plates, one
for each zone, can be connected to an S12.

The RMK3 is specifically designed to
facilitate the mounting ELAN dual rack-
space integrated multi-room controllers
and amplifiers into standard 19 in.
equipment racks in order to provide
optimum air flow and heat dispersion for
these units. The RMK3 will take up three
rack spaces when installed.
*Note: the RMK3 is not compatible with
S6 purchased prior to Q2, 2006. Please
call ELAN Technical Support for specific
dates and details.

With the RSWP, any audio/video source
in any multi-room system can be located
anywhere in the house.
The RSWP sends audio and video from
any remotely-located A/V source (i.e. a
DVD player in the Master Bedroom) back
down to the head end, and IR control
signals from the head end back to the
remotely-located source.
Audio and IR are transmitted over a single
run of Cat-5 cable. Balanced differential

head end. IR IN and OUT ports on each
plate allow for system-wide control of
each source. An RCA-to-F video connector
sends video back to the system over RG-6
