The rough-in bracket for all full-frame
Precision Panels, the PBKT6P looks a lot
like a speaker rough-in bracket because it
once was. A sliding frame on metal straps
adjusts to any location between the studs,
ensuring perfect alignment.

The PRM2 is the latest innovation in the
Precision Panel line of products from
ELAN. Precision Panels provide a neat,
quick and error-free means to connect the
dozens of wire runs in a multi-room A/V
system to ELAN components. The PRM2
takes this concept to the next level by
providing an easy way to attach any
combination of ELAN Precision Panels to a
standard 19 in.-wide equipment rack. The
Precision Panel Rack Mount Kit allows
rack mounting any two full-frame
Precision Panels, one full-frame panel plus
two half-frame panels, or up to four half-
frame panels. It features a swing-down
front plate with anchored support cables
that makes connections and punchdowns
a breeze, and is constructed from heavy-
gauge electro-galvanized steel for
increased strength.

The PF2 accommodates any two of ELAN
“half-frame” Precision Panels (PZ600,
PVSE, PV12, PSP6, PMP3). The kit includes
a full-size Precision Panel frame, an insert
with pre-drilled holes for the mounting
of two half-frame Precision Panels,
mounting screws, and a blank half-frame
plate to cover any unused half of the
frame. New-construction brackets are
available, or the PF2 can easily be retro-
fitted using the four clamping legs
attached to the frame, which clamp the
panel securely to drywall. The PF2 is
required for the installation of all
half-frame Precision Panels.
