The PSS1 Precision Panel is designed to
simplify connectivity when using an ELAN
VIA!2-SS1 System Station. The use of ELAN
Precision Panels provides a convenient
termination point and adds reliability and
simplicity to any installation in which they
are used.
The rear panel of the PSS1 features a
neatly laid out array of punch-down
connectors and ports for terminating the
many devices that can be connected to
the System Station, including Relays,
ELAN
®
SENSE sensors, RS-232 controlled
devices (HVAC, lighting, security, etc.),
Ethernet, VIA!NET, IR and more. The PSS1's
front panel provides sense inputs, IR
outputs, COM ports, relays, VIA!NET and
Ethernet connections that coincide with,
and make easy connection to VIA!2-SS1.
The front panel of the PSS1 can be
removed from its frame, making all rear
panel punch-downs easy. PBKT6P new-
construction rough-in brackets are
available, or the PSS1 can easily be retro-
fitted using the four clamping legs
attached to the frame, which clamp the
panel securely to drywall. Like all full-
frame Precision Panels, the PSS1 can also
be mounted in the PRM2 Precision Panel
Rack-Mount Kit which attaches directly to
any standard 19 in.-wide equipment rack.

This ELAN Speaker Precision Panel is the
logical solution for connecting speakers in
every room to amplifiers back at the head
end.
Twelve pairs of gold-plated binding posts
provide the professional finishing touch
to any multi-room audio distribution
system. The paintable frame has clamping
legs and a removable panel for easy
installation.
The PSP12 is the perfect compliment to
the PS12 Precision Panel and ELAN’s 12-
and 16-channel Digital Power Amplifiers
(D1650, see pg. 24 and D1200, see pg. 25).
