If speaker rough-in brackets are not being utilized, speaker wire runs

should be stapled in a loose zigzag between the studs where the

speaker is to be mounted in order to make it easier to ﬁ nd the cable

after the drywall is installed. Zig-zagging the cable also allows ﬂ ex-

ibility in the placement of the speaker.
