DFG staff will never ask you for your login information or password, neither in person nor by telephone or e-mail. The homepage also contains information about any feature updates as well as future plans.

Use the My Profile tab to update your profile. Select Overview to review your personal data and addresses. To update this information, select Edit. Please allow one working day for your data to be processed and displayed.

Proposals that have been withdrawn or concluded are not listed. Projects that have been declined are shown up to three months following the decision.

Electronic proposal forms that are currently available can be found under New Project. When processing your electronic proposal, the personal data and contact details that you provided during registration will be used. You will not be asked to re-enter this data.

Continue later By clicking the Continue later button you can save your current entries. Back The Back button allows you to return to previous pages and change your earlier entries. No entries are lost if you do so. Continue The Continue button takes you to the next page.

Depending on the funding programme, not all sections may be shown (e.g. Participating Institutions). If you will be submitting a renewal proposal, please note that many of the entries from your initial proposal will be generated automatically from the DFG’s database. Please review the data and change where necessary.

elan-Flyer „Electronic Proposals“ – 2013.09.01 Page 10 of 11 Adding Attachments PLEASE NOTE At the end of the form you can add attachments, such as a description of the research project, CV, and a list of publications. The first page of the proposal form specifies the documentation you need to attach to apply for the funding programme you have chosen. • All documents must be in PDF format and security settings must allow texts to be read, copied and printed.

Drafts are saved for 100 days. You will be informed by e-mail before a draft is deleted. To continue your draft, click on the relevant title. To request a one-time, 100-day extension without having to open your draft, click Extend.
