PREPARATION
Battery installation
1. Remove the battery cover at the back
of the monitor.
2. Insert 4 x 1,5V AA batteries with
polarities in the correct direction.
3. Slide the battery cover closed so that
it locks securely into place.
Note: Replace batteries when the battery
indicator “ ” shows low voltage.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Self-measurement is not medical treatment. If there are unusual values, please consult
your doctor.
• Blood pressure readings may change during a pregnancy. Pregnant women should
consult their doctor before making measurements.
• Blood pressure measurement is not suitable for individuals with serious arteriosclerosis.
• Babies, young children or individuals who cannot express their consent are not suitable
for making blood pressure measurements.
• Correct handling of batteries:
- As soon as the old batteries are done, replace with new batteries.
- Do not use old and new batteries together.
- Align the polarities of batteries correctly.
- If the unit is not going to be used for more than 3 months, remove the batteries.
Otherwise the batteries may leak and cause damage to the unit.
