Inter-Board Connectors
The SCS-TRUMPET is equipped with 4 inter-board connectors. These are the EXP (LPC and mixed
signals), the HSE (SATA & USB), the PCIE (4-Lane PCI Express®), and the DP (DisplayPort) connectors.
All host CPU inter-board connectors are situated at the bottom of the SCS-TRUMPET and establish the
data path and power link to the carrier board CPU.
As the SCS-TRUMPET comes typically mounted as a unit together with the SC2-PRESTO or
PC3-ALLEGRO (or other carrier board), there is normally no need for the user to get access to any of
the inter-board connectors. They are described here as a reference only and for better understanding
of the SCS-TRUMPET.
