Uniformity Check
IPEM recommends using TG18-QC or SMPTE patterns, but these patterns are not suitable for
measuring 50% grayscale uniformity. Instead, RadiCS displays grayscale 128 windows equivalent
to 10% of the display area in the center of the screen and in the corners, and measures the center
portion of each window. IPEM includes an equality sign but RadiCS does not.
Sensors
Use of a measuring device that complies with the CIE standard photopic spectral response and has a
calibration traceable to an appropriate primary standard is recommended. RadiCS supports use of all
compliant sensors.
Multiple Monitors
IPEM includes a determination for multiple monitors, but by default RadiCS is set not to make such
a determination. If necessary, make settings as indicated in the table above. IPEM includes an equality
sign but RadiCS does not.
Cautions
An illuminance meter must be used to ensure that the ambient light level is less than 15 lux. RadiCS
does not make determinations based on illuminance.
