Independent 6-Color Control
Easily accessible via the front panel buttons, you
can use this function to independently adjust hue
and saturation for each primary (red, green, blue)
and secondary (cyan, magenta, yellow) color for
precise adjustment of even a single color in an image
(FlexScan L997).
10-Bit Gamma Correction
Automatically takes 8-bit input signals (256 tones
for each primary color) from the graphics board and
uses a 10-bit look-up table (1,021 tones) to produce
smoother, more accurate gradations of color.
Brightness Stabilization
Constant, non-fluctuating brightness is necessary for
the proper display of color. An EIZO-patented drift
correction function quickly stabilizes the brightness
level upon startup or wakeup. In addition, a sensor
measures the backlight brightness of the LCD and
compensates for any brightness fluctuations caused
by the ambient temperature or the passage of time.

Overdrive Circuit

processing improves rendering of grayscale tones for a
greater degree of detail then was previously possible,
especially in dark areas of an image (FlexScan L997).
