4-2. Enabling/Disabling Automatic Brightness
Adjustment
The ambient light sensor on the front side of the monitor detects the environmental brightness to adjust the screen
brightness automatically and comfortably by using the Auto EcoView function.
Attention
Be careful not to block the ambient light sensor on the lower side of the monitor when using the Auto EcoView function.
Procedure
1. Choose “PowerManager” from the Adjustment menu, and press
.
2. Choose “Auto EcoView” from “PowerManager, and press
.
3. Select “On” or “Off” with
or .
4. Press
to exit.
Note
As “Brightness” in the Setting menu is changed, the auto adjustment range for Auto EcoView is also changed.
The maximum brightness changes depending on the setting for “Blur Reduction” (see “Reducing motion blur “Blur
Reduction”” (page 15)) on the Adjustment menu. When the setting is changed, adjust the auto adjustment range for Auto
EcoView by adjusting “Brightness”.
4-3. Adjusting the Brightness of Indicator
The brightness of the power indicator (blue) can be adjusted. (Default setting: 4)
Procedure
1. Choose “PowerManager” from the Adjustment menu, and press
.
2. Choose “Indicator” from “PowerManager, and press
.
3. Select the indicator brightness “Off” or in the range from 1 to 7 with
or as desired.
4. Press
to exit.
4-4. Setting DisplayPort Power Save
This functionallows you to change the power setting of the DisplayPort of the monitor.
Attention
For the “On” setting, the position of the window may be changed when the signal is switched. In such a case, turn the setting
to “Off.
Procedure
1. Press
to turn off the monitor.
2. Holding
down, press for at least two seconds to turn on the monitor.
The “Optional Settings” menu appears.
3. Choose “DP Power Save” from “Optional Settings”, and press .
