The LF symbol indicates lead-free solder, and is attached on the PWBs and service manuals. The alphabetical character following LF shows the type of lead-free solder. Example: LFa Indicates lead-free solder of tin, silver and copper. 2 Using lead-free wire solder When fixing the PWB soldered with the lead-free solder, apply lead-free wire solder.

EIP-3500 RESETTING THE TOTAL LAMP TIMER ● Resetting the Lamp Timer Reset the lamp timer after replacing the lamp. Info Make sure to reset the lamp timer only when replacing the lamp. If you reset the lamp timer and continue to use the same lamp, this may cause the lamp to become damaged or explode. 1 AC socket POWER button Connect the power cord. The problem remains even after adjusting "Process menu", "DLP" and "Index". Is the socket of SC9001 connected properly? Thick and white vertical lines (flash).

YES NO Are voltages of 3.3V, 1.5V and 2.8V applied to pin (4) of X5001, pin (94) of IC5003 and pin (5) of IC5008 respectively? Check the power supply circuit and its peripheral circuits. EIP-3500 Checking the LAN LAN communication is disabled even though connecting the control PC with a LAN cable. The LINK LED (green) does not light up. YES Are the connection of connecting cable and the settings of IP address, sub-net address and default gateway correct? NO YES Check the connecting cable and LAN settings. If the LAN settings are unknown, contact the network administrator. If the network settings cannot be saved, replace IC8003 (EEP ROM) as it may be defective.

EIP-3500 Resetting after replacing IC8003 (EEP ROM) MAC address returns to default. Follow the steps below to reset. 1 Open the top cabinet of the projector and confirm the MAC address (MAC: ************) of the seal on the PWB. 2 Connect the control PC and projector with a RS-232C cable. 3 Turn on the AC power supply. 4 EEP ROM returns to default. 5 Turn off the AC power supply and turn on again. 6 Set MAC address by using the RS-232C command. (Refer to "MAC address setting" for the setting procedure.
