Solving Problems 29
System crash on 32-Bit-CardBus Controller PCs (from Windows 95
OSR2)
DIVA Mobile has been successfully installed and detected, but after the first
installation step (installation of the multifunction adapter) the PC freezes or
shows a black or blue screen.
This problem is usually caused by a combination of two factors: a shared
interrupt and a PC hardware (BIOS) error. It may also occur if the Card and
Socket Service drivers are old or not correct.
Two devices can share an interrupt only if there are no free interrupts
available.
To solve the problem, deinstall all unused hardware components (e. g. an
infrared port). Assign the DIVA Mobile an exclusive interrupt. Reinstall the
DIVA Mobile.
The original error can only be solved by the supplier/producer of your
notebook (BIOS Update, current drivers).
