28 DIVA Mobile User’s Guide
Malfunctioning due to a covered resource conflict
The DIVA Mobile hardware and software is installed, but after rebooting the
PC the DIVA Mobile does not function.
This usually occurs when a malfunctioning driver uses resources without
signaling the system.
To solve this problem modify the resources assigned to the DIVA Mobile.
1 From the Taskbar go to Start, Settings, Control Panel and double-click
System.
2On the Device Manager tab double-click Multifunction adapter.
3 Select the Eicon DIVA Mobile ISDN-V.34 combo card and click
Properties.
4 Modify the resources manually on the Resources tab.
Malfunctioning due to “unfavorable” resource assignment
The DIVA Mobile hardware and software is installed, but after rebooting the
PC or removing and reinserting DIVA Mobile, the system freezes for about
1 to 2 minutes (then functions normally).
The reason of this error is still under investigation. You can solve it by
modifying the DIVA Mobile resources which have been assigned to the COM
Port.
1 From the Taskbar go to Start, Settings, Control Panel and double-click
System.
2On the Device Manager tab double-click Multifunction adapter.
3 Select Eicon DIVA Mobile ISDN-V.34 combo card and click
Properties.
4 Modify the I/O range manually on the Resources tab.
