Using RoboInsight Reports
RoboEngine's most powerful feature is its feedback mechanism that uses
RoboInsight technology. Through this feature, you receive real-time feedback
on what is confusing or missing from your online information. You can see
where users are entering the system, what questions they are asking, and most
importantly, what questions are going unanswered. Armed with this
information, you can focus on updating the specific areas of your content that
are known trouble spots.
The reports are based on questions asked by users through the natural
language search mechanism. RoboEngine’s natural language search provides an
intuitive question-answering service allowing users to easily find information in
your content. Users can type questions using their own phrasing (rather than
building complicated search statements) and receive a list of the most
appropriate pages or topics.
Reports are useful for communicating with management, who generally want
concrete facts and quantitative research in an easy-to-read format. Reports
take the guesswork out of determining the strengths and weaknesses of your
content because they give you the data you need. Reports also enable you to
track statistics over time.
The following reports are available:
n Unanswered Questions: This report displays the information that is
missing from your policies and procedures. This is the information your
employees search for but do not find.
n Frequently Asked Questions: This report displays the information that
employees search for most often within your online information.
n Areas Requiring Support: Displays the areas of the application from
which users request help the most frequently.
n Frequently Viewed Content: This report displays the information that
users view the most often and probably find most useful.
n Usage Statistics: This report provides details on how your online
information is being accessed.
