Opening an engine
An engine displays the content that users view. The Open an engine dialog
allows you to open a previously configured engine or create a new one. Once an
engine is opened or created you can add projects, review settings, and make
other changes.
To open an engine:
1 Open the Configuration Manger. (On the computer where you installed
RoboEngine, double-click the Configuration Manager icon on the
desktop.
Note: If you only have one engine, it automatically opens and you can skip
steps 2-4.
2 Select Open an existing engine.
3 Select the engine to open.
4 Click OK.
Maintaining your engine
An engine's properties can be configured using the Configuration Manager.
There are several maintenance tasks you should perform periodically to keep
your project running smoothly.
Checking the event log
You should periodically check the Windows System event log on the engine.
Checking for engine errors
The Troubleshoot panel of the Configuration Manager displays all problems that
have occurred.
To check for engine errors:
1 Open the Configuration Manager. (On the computer where you installed
RoboEngine, double-click the Configuration Manager icon on the
desktop.
2 Open the engine.
