On the left side of the Configuration Manager are icons representing panels.
Each of the following panels manages a different set of functionality:
n Projects Panel
n Database Panel
n Troubleshoot Panel
The following menus are available on the menu bar:
n File menu
n View menu
The following options are available on the toolbar:
New: Click to display the Configuration Wizard. This dialog enables you to
create a new engine.
Open: Click to display the RoboEngine Startup dialog. This dialog enables
you to create a new engine or open an existing one.
Save and Refresh: Click to save all changes made to the engine. This
command also refreshes the engine, causing it to re-read any cached settings.
Refresh: Click to refresh the engine, causing it to re-read any cached
settings or information. This is not needed after a Save, but is useful when you
update a project on the engine.
Help: Click to display online Help.
Starting the Configuration Manager
The Configuration Manager is automatically installed when you install
RoboEngine.
To start the Configuration Manager:
4 On the computer where you installed RoboEngine, double-click the
Configuration Manager icon on the desktop.
OR
4 On the computer where you installed RoboEngine, from the Windows Start
menu, select Programs - RoboEngine - Configuration Manager.
