4 In the Right drop-down menu, select Act as part of the operating
system.
5 Click Add.
6 In the List Names From drop-down menu, select your RoboEngine
machine name.
7 Click Show Users.
8 Select IWAM_<machine name>.
9 Click Add.
10 Click OK to close the Add Users and Groups dialog.
11 Click OK again to close the User Rights Policy dialog.
Viewing external documents from the engine
If you have links to external documents (e.g., Word documents, Excel
spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, or PDF files) in your project, you need
to take a few extra steps if you want to see the external documents when
viewing your project from the engine.
To view external documents from the engine:
1 Make sure the computer name is part of the domain.
2 Log in with a name that can access the network drive.
OR
Log in as the administrator and then click the network drive. Type in a
valid name and password to view the drive.
Scheduling the scanning process
You can establish a regular schedule for scanning your project using the
Configuration Manager. Regular scanning ensures that your searchable
database is consistently updated. The schedule is completely flexible and can
be set and modified at any time.
Note: Establishing a schedule for scanning is not required, but is simply one
option for keeping your engine updated. Remember that the
Configuration Manager checks for changes to documents whenever the
project is published or the "Refresh" button is clicked.
