Chapter 2 Setting up RoboInfo
21
Viewing projects
Once the project is published to the engine, you can view the project and ask
questions using the natural language search option. This is the best way to test
your system because you see exactly what your users will see.
You can view a project directly from the Configuration Wizard or from within
RoboInfo Publisher. The project opens in your default browser. If your engine
contains more than one project and you have the projects set to merge, all of
the projects merge together at run time. (You can verify that the projects
merged successfully by reviewing the table of contents all topics from all of
the merged projects should be listed there.)
To view the project from RoboEngine:
1 Open the Configuration Manager. (On the computer where you installed
RoboEngine, double-click the Configuration Manager icon on the
desktop.)
2 Open the engine containing the project you want to view.
3 Select the Projects panel.
4 Click View Content. The engine opens in your default browser.
Note: If you want to view an external document linked to your Web site when
you view content from the engine, you need to check that you have the
correct access. For more information see, “Viewing external documents
from the engine” in chapter 3.
To view the project from RoboInfo Publisher:
1 Open RoboInfo Publisher by double-clicking the RoboInfo Publisher icon
on the desktop.
2 Double-click on the name of your project, or double-click More Files to
browse to a project and click Open. RoboInfo Publisher opens.
3 From the File menu, select Run Local Preview. The project opens in
your default browser.
