9. Place a metal rod (e.g., a 3.5" long

screw bit) with diameter less than

1/4 inch (6.35mm) into the holes in

the fan to act as a stabilizer. Place

another metal rod (e.g., a 3.5" long

screw bit) with diameter less than

5/16" (8mm) into the xing hole to

act as another stabilizer (Fig. 28).

10. Use a 9/16" (14mm) torque wrench

(not included) to tighten the outer

bolt clockwise. The recommended torque for the outer bolt is 36-43 ft-lb

(50-60Nm).

INSTALLING THE EDGE PREMIUM

TRI CUT LOWER BLADE

If you want to get better mulching and

bagging performance, please replace the

lower blade with the edge premium TRI

cut lower blade as the following steps:

1. Wearing protective gloves.

2. Mount the fan onto the motor shaft

with the fan blade towards the deck

(Fig. 25).

3. Replace the lower blade with the edge premium TRI cut lower blade.

4. Assemble the upper blade and the edge premium TRI cut lower blade following

the direction showed on the Fig.29; x the two nuts clockwise instead of

tightening them and allow some movements between the two blades (Fig.29).

5. Install the blade set following the step 4 to step 10 showed in the “INSTALLING

THE BLADE”.
