INSTALLING THE BLADE

NOTICE:

To re-install or replace the

blade, be sure to replace the parts in the

exact order in which they were removed

(Fig. 23).

1. Wearing protective gloves.

2. Mount the fan onto the motor shaft

with the fan blade towards the deck

(Fig. 25).

3. When placing the bolt into the hole

in the blade with no clearance

between them, please note that

the diamond protrusion on the bolt

should be aligned with the rhombic

hole on the blade (Fig.26).

4. Assemble the two blades following

the direction showed on the Fig.27;

x the two nuts clockwise instead

of tightening them and allow some

movements between the two blades

(Fig.27).

5. Position the blade set on the shaft

with the surface stating “THIS SIDE

FACING GRASS” facing toward the

outside (Fig. 28).

6. Use a 43/64" (17mm) torque

wrench to tighten the two nuts. The

recommended torque is 22 ft-lb

(30Nm).

7. Align the outer ange with the shaft and assemble it into place.

8. Mount the outer bolt onto the shaft and turn it clockwise by hand to pre-tighten it.
