Saving Your Flight Settings, and Starting a Flight
Once you’ve displayed and/or changed your settings, you can do several things:
• Discard whatever you’ve changed and start a flight with the old settings
• Save the new settings and start a flight (this is probably what you’re most likely to do)
• Save the new settings and halt the TRS (this is what you’d do at home, the night before…)
• Go back to the Main Menu without saving
Note that you cannot save the settings and go back to the Main Menu. This is because you
MUST review the settings before you can start a flight, so if you’ve changed something then the
implication is that you’re either ready to start a flight or you’re changing the settings for a flight
at some later time.
To save (or discard) your settings, PRESS the button for at least 1 second from
The screens that you can select look like this… as usual, TAP the button to cycle through them,
and PRESS the button for at least 1 second to make your selection.
If you select “Return wo Save”, any changes you made will be discarded, and you will be
returned to the Main Menu. This is what you’d do if you were simply reviewing the existing
settings, and wanted to go back to the menu.
If you select one of the FLY menus, you’ll get the Status Display screen as it checks the
deployment channel status. If everything is OK, it will sit there as long as you want it to until
you HOLD the button for at least 7 seconds, then you’ll hear a long tone as the flight sequence
begins.
