existing amplifier previously installed or you are concurrently installing

TOOLS (
The following is a list
of
common tools and supplies required when doing car audio installations (tools not
included):
• Wire stripper • Digital multimeter (DMM) or Computer-safe voltage tester
• Philips screwdriver
• Crimp connectors • Soldering iron/gun
• Solder
• Drill and drill bits • Crimpers
• Tape and wire ties
GENERAL WIRING
TIPS
1 .
To
help prevent electrical noise from entering your audio system RCA audio cables and 12V power cables
should not be routed together. Ideally they should be routed on opposite sides
of
the vehicle. However, if
that is not possible, keeping them at least 1 foot apart will usually give good results.
2. Make sure that your wiring is never routed through openings which have rough metal edges. Use
grommets whenever necessary. Also be aware that wiring may get pinched beneath seat tracks, clutch and
brake pedals.
3.
When making any wiring connection, we recommend using crimp connectors or soldering all connections
and properly covering with heat shrink
or
electrical tape.
