CHAPTER 6 REMOTE COMMANDS
The commands in this section begin with the word remote. The commands allow you
to add, delete, and modify remote routers to which the target router can connect.
Remote router information that can be configured includes:
PVC numbers
Phone numbers
CallerID phone numbers
Call management
Bandwidth management
Security authentication protocols and passwords
WAN IP/ IPX addresses
IP routes
IPX routes and SAPS
Remote bridging addresses and bridging control
Host mapping

Command Function
remote ? Lists the supported remote keywords.
remote add Adds a remote router entry into the remote router data-
base.
remote addbridge Defines the remote router entry as the default bridging
destination for outbound bridging.
remote addhostmapping Remaps a range of local LAN IP addresses to a range
of public IP addresses on a per-remote-router basis.
