7.7 Extended torque control (kT estimator, Servo)
Description
The "extended torque control" function module comprises two modules - the k
T
estimator and
the compensation of the voltage emulation error of the drive converter. This allows the
torque accuracy to be increased.
Note
When this function module is activated, the maximum number of drives that can be
controlled from a Control Unit is reduced by at least one drive.

The extended torque control can be activated via: Right-click the drive > Properties >
Function Modules.
