SDSL ?
Lists the supported keywords for the sdsl command.
Example:
# sdsl ?
SDSL commands:
? help speed
save stats terminal
SDSL EOC
Manages the embedded operations channel (EOC) if it is available in the router. To determine if this command is
available, enter an sdsl ? command.
The EOC can be used by the central office (CO) to change the speed of the SDSL line. To be effective, the EOC
must be enabled by both the CO and the customer premises equipment (CPE).
To determine if the EOC is enabled, enter the command sdsl eoc. To enable the EOC, enter the command sdsl eoc
enable. (See the example at the end of this command description.)
If the EOC is enabled for the router, its SDSL line initially activates at 192 kb/s. The CO can then use the EOC to
set the correct line speed.
Note: If you enable the EOC, you cannot manually set the line speed using the sdsl speed command.
Note: If the router has been defined as Central Office (CO) equipment, you cannot enable the EOC (see the sdsl
terminal command on page 226).
Note: Remember to enter an sdsl save or save command to save SDSL changes across reboots.
enable Enables the EOC.
disable Disables the EOC.
Example: The commands in the example do the following tasks:
1. Determines that the EOC command is available.
2. Determines that the EOC is currently disabled.
3. Enables the EOC.
4. Saves the SDSL change.
5. Displays the current line speed. (The line speed is controlled by the CO; the sdsl speed command cannot
change the line speed while the EOC is enabled.)
6. Lists the SDSL statistics. Because the EOC is enabled, the list includes EOC statistics.
