User Lookup Configuration
The User Lookup Configuration page allows the administrator to define the search
order (primary and secondary) for user login requests. The User Look Configuration
page is shown below.
The selection options are as follows:
• Local - Local will query the local user database, held in flash memory.
• Radius - will cause the RADUIS client to generate an encrypted Access
Request to a configured RADIUS server. RADIUS is a key-enabled feature.
• None - indicates only the specified alternative method will be used.
NOTE:
At least one lookup selection (primary or secondary) will always be Local. Setting
either the primary or secondary for Radius or None, will default the alternate lookup to
Local.
For additional topic information, see “User Lookup” on page 5-6. To configure User
Lookup, perform the following:
Step1 Click to select the Primary lookup location.
Step2 Click to select the Secondary lookup location.
Step3 Click Apply to save the changes.
