The following command is used to enable and disable secure mode. When secure
mode is enabled, management access of the system is allowed only through secure
channels for untrusted interfaces.
system securemode set <enable | disable>
NOTE:
When secure mode is enabled, all current non-secure connections via an untrusted
interface will be terminated immediately with the exception of inbound file transfers.
Inbound file transfers will allowed to complete prior to session termination.
To designate an interface as trusted or untrusted, use the following commands. These
settings are enforced only if secure is enabled.
system securemode set lan <trusted | untrusted>
system securemode set wan <trusted | untrusted>
The current secure mode settings can be displayed using the following command:
system securemode list
