Network Service Provider Requirements
Your Network Service Provider (NSP) should provide the following
information:
Protocol to use, from one of the following:
• PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol, requires a user name and password)
• RFC 1483 (SNAP encapsulation), RFC1490 if frame relay
• RFC 1483 MER (MAC Encapsulated Routing, requiring a WAN
gateway address)
