Setup
Connect the air input hose assembly
to clean, dry, filtered plant air ❶
using the fittings supplied. Set plant
air supply within 80 to 100 psi (5.5
to 6.9 bar). Where required, use an
EFD five-micron filter regulator
(#2000F755).
Attach the air input hose coupling
❷ to the vacuum pen console.
Plug in the polarized foot pedal
connector
❸.
Insert the black quick-connect ❹
from the vacuum pen into the air
output fitting on the front panel.
Connect the power cord ❺ to a
grounded 120 VAC outlet. (220 VAC
is available. Check voltage label.)
Twist on the appropriate pickup tip
❻ and vacuum cup.
Install the filter muffler ❼ on the
vacuum transducer. The vacuum
pen is now ready for use.
Operation
Press the power switch ❽ to turn
on the unit.
Position the vacuum cup on the
component and press the foot
pedal
❸ to activate the vacuum.
Adjust the vacuum by turning the
vacuum-control knob
❾ on the
front panel. Turn counterclockwise
to increase vacuum.
Pick up and place the component.
Release the foot pedal
❸ when the
component has been placed. Vacuum
to the pen will stop immediately.

purchase. This warranty is valid only
