Condensation drainage
Condensate water must drain without interference. In case of condensation drainage over a large distance, it
should be taken care that the hose does not bend sharply and that drainage is checked trouble-free to avoid
backwatering and overflowing of condensate water.
5.3.2 Split air con unit - outdoor solution
The cooling fins of the compressor are to be kept free of dust, leaves and other deposits. Deposits of dirt
hinder ventilation, reduce the cooling capacity and raise operating costs. The cleaning intervals are to be
selected based on the environment. Blow compressed air over the compressor to clean it. A visual inspec-
tion should be conducted from time to time even if a maintenance contract was signed.
