1.2 Safety instructions for the protection of persons
DANGER
Electric shock, electrocution
Improperly performed work on the electrical equipment of the Modular
Safe can result in serious injury or death.
Work on the electrical equipment of the Modular Safe must only be done by
a qualified electrician, or by duly instructed persons working under the su-
pervision of a qualified electrician, in accordance with established electrical
engineering rules and regulations.
The power supply data specified on the rating plates must be complied with.
Before doing any maintenance work, the Modular Safe must be discon-
nected from the power supply.
DANGER
Risk of Collapse
Failure of the building’s structural statics can result in serious injury or
death.
Before installing the Modular Safe, ensure that the building meets the requi-
red structural statics.
The Modular Safe must only be installed in locations where the building’s
structural statics are adequately high.
WARNING
Risk of getting jammed
Injury can occur when opening and closing the safety doors.
When opening and closing the doors, make sure that you do not get caught
between the door and the frame. Keep a safe distance away.

Blocked escape routes
In the event of an emergency, blocked escape routes can lead to injury
or even death.
When selecting the location for the Modular Safe, make sure that wide
enough escape routes are present. Do not put any objects down or store
them in the area of the Modular Safe’s safety doors.
