S-5500 Curtain Wall Router & Jig Use Instructions Router Fixtures (DJ32 & DJ33) for Sill Cover Weep Slots 1. Slide sill cover into router fixture (DJ32) and flush cover with the end of the bottom plate of the fixture. See Figure 1. Use router bit DJ38. 2. Clamp fixture to the sill cover and begin making the exterior weep slot. DJ32 Flush with top of plate [Fig. 1] [Fig. 2] 1. Slide sill cover into router fixture (DJ33) and flush cover with end of the top plate of the fixture. See Figure 4.
S-5500 Curtain Wall Router & Jig Use Instructions Router & Drill Fixtures (DJ34 & DJ35) for Intermediate Horizontal Cover Weeps 1. Slide intermediate horizontal cover into router fixture (DJ34) and flush cover with the end of the top plate of the fixture. See Figure 5. Use router bit DJ38. 2. Ensure that the router bit is set to the correct depth so not to damage the face of the cover. 3. Clamp fixture to the cover and begin making the interior weep slot. DJ34 [Fig. 5] 1.
S-5500 Curtain Wall Router & Jig Use Instructions Router Fixture (DJ36) for Weep Notch at Intermediate Horizontal and Sill 1. Place router fixture with router (DJ36 and DJ40) on horizontal making sure it sets flat on the glazing pocket as shown in Figures 9-11. To achieve this, the router fixture must be in the open position. 2. Align the end of the fixture flush with the end of the horizontal. 3. Make sure the clamps are parallel with the top of the horizontal. Tighten clamps but don’t over tighten. 4.

Slide router fixture (DJ37) on the end of the horizontal until it hits the stop. See Figure 13. 2. Clamp fixture to the horizontal. 3. Ensure that the router bit (DJ41) is set to the correct depth.
