PROBLEM LIKELY CAUSE SOLUTION
1. When the key is
turned to «RUN»,
the
indicator light or
the control panel
remain switched o
The safety device of the electronic
circuit board has cut in due to:
– badly connected battery
– battery terminals crossed
– completely at battery
– fuse blown
– electronic circuit board wet
Turn the key to «STOP» and look
for the cause of the problem:
– check connections (

– recharge the battery (

– replace the fuse (10 A) (

– dry using tepid air
2. With the key on
«START» the light
ashes and the
starter motor does
not run
– conditions are not met to allow
starting
– check that the conditions allowing
starting are met (

3. With the
key is turned to
«START» the light
or the control panel
come on, but the
starter motor is not
activated
– insuciently charged battery
– malfunction on the starter relay
– recharge the battery (

4. With the key
on «START», the
starter motor runs
but the engine does
not start
– insuciently charged battery
– faulty fuel supply
– faulty ignition
– recharge the battery (

– check the level in the tank ( 5.3.3)
– open the fuel stopcock (if present)
