Performing an Earpiece Fit Test
You will need to do an in-noise Earpiece Fit Test to ensure your communication works well. This test must be
done every time you power up your amulet or remove an earpiece. It needs to be done in noise (above 85dB)
and can be done at ANY time to ensure your hearing is always protected.
Press the “FUNCTION” button and release. While the unit is completing the Earpiece Fit Test, do not talk, chew
or touch any of the other buttons. You will hear a ramping up audio prompt and see the Amulet ash WHITE.
The test may take up to 10 seconds to complete. A successful PASS t test will look like this with an ascending
audio prompt.
If you have a poor t, you hear a descending audio prompt and see the ring light up a constant RED, on either
side with GREEN and RED, depending on your actual t.
